Happy Easter from my thirsty squirrel friend and me!
Happy Easter from my family. Everyone was much happier in our family photo this year!
Uncle Steve got me a Disney Princess magazine subscription for a present. In the most recent issue they had this fun craft idea to make a Cinderella skirt. I, of course, really wanted to do this. $40 later we got the supplies we needed to make a skirt. We are not quite done with it. We (and by we I mean Mommy) has gotten the skirt part made. Now we just need to figure out how to put all the bows and pearls on it. The directions were not very clear at all and we have no idea what to do at this point.
I had my big Kindergarten night at school a few weeks ago. A highlight was getting to ride the bus. I learned all about bus safety. We also got to go on a treasure hunt throughout the school to find the classrooms, gym, cafeteria, library, etc.
I was pretty excited about these!
Jeff and Amy got me this cute outfit for Easter. It has quickly become one of my favorite things to wear.
I have one more gymnastics lesson left. I really wanted to take gymnastics to learn how to do a cartwheel. We didn't do any for the first 3 lessons. I was so excited when they announced we'd practice cartwheels that I had to run over and tell Mom.
My dance class got to perform at the local expo. We put on a very good show!
It was too slippery to use our tap shoes so we had to do our tap dance in our ballet shoes. There wasn't a normal stage. It was just the regular school floor.

After our performance Mom and I browsed the exhibit booths. I found a big stuffed bear and a balloon animal guy. I was pleased.
My friend now has a new baby sister so we took her on a fun play date to celebrate being a big sister again. We went to the Barbie Dream House exhibit at MOA. It was a dream come true for sure.
After the exhibit we went on a few rides and then had dinner at Rainforest Café. We had such a fun afternoon together! She is just the bestest friend!
Andrew was a little cranky so we put him to bed and then had cake. It was easier that way. Don't worry, we gave him some cake later!
We had "Crazy Hair Day" at dance to celebrate the end of the dance season. I thought this was pretty fun!

Speaking of hair, I got a new haircut this past week. My hair has just become way too tangled and snarly and Mom was tired of trying to comb it and I was tired of it hurting. We took a couple inches off and we are both much happier. My hair is much more manageable!

I'm so happy my good buddy Ari will be at my elementary school next year!

To cap off the week we went to Stillwater to pick up Daddy's race packet for his half marathon. We had dinner next to the river and got to play at Teddy Bear Park afterward. I always love Teddy Bear Park!
I also go to go to a birthday party of my good friend at a jumping place. I have been asking to go to a jumping place for a long time so I was pretty excited about this! And we had donuts that were decorated with Frozen characters. A dream come true!
What else is new with me?
- I got rather upset one night while driving to dinner when I noticed that the exit ramp to a highway was closed (I read the sign). I said, "Oh no! The ramp is closed! And it was my favorite ramp!" My parents explained it was closed temporarily for repair and to not fret.
- I have a couple weeks off before all my summer activities start. Mom is hoping for nice weather and lots of playing outside.
- I'm looking forward to going to Grandma's house next week to go to bible school. Tonight I told my mom that I'm really excited about "my vacation to Grandma's house. I can't wait to get some sleep. There won't be any babies, no crying, no one trying to take Skippy (the hamster puppet)....." I really am looking forward to some time away from my little brother!
- People always say I look so much like my mom..but I've got a little of my dad in me too. Today I was so proud that I got my applesauce lid off all by myself. Mommy said it was great and a great skill to have before kindergarten. She then said that we should make a list of all the things I need to learn this summer before kindergarten. I agreed with this idea and added, "Make sure you write down 'take off applesauce lid' and then check it off!" Daddy is famous for making to-do lists and adding things to the list he's already done so he can check them off and "get credit for them".
